The Literature Night will take place in the Czech Centre in cooperation with the FRA Publishers. At this event, an exhibition about the publishers graphic book work will be presented. The FRA Literary Café, moved from the Czech Centre in Milan for the day, will be opened.
The Literature Night programme will include the titles of Czech authors already published in Italy as well as Czech literature works by the FRA Publishers’ writers and authors, which are unknown in Italy and are to be selected and translated.
Unpublished works by Czech writers, who are unknown in Italy, will be read as part of the literary evening. Among the presented texts will be part of an already translated book by Jiří Mucha, Kankán se svatozáří (Life and Work of Alfons Mucha), for which the Czech Centre is currently seeking an Italian publisher.
